GaugeBook displays gauges of MS Flight Simulator X (FSX) on a secondary computer, focussing on small notebooks. It's written in Java to support any OS and platform. GaugeBook requires SimConnect on the machine running FSX plus a TCP/IP Network.
the gauges are nice and actually look sweet on an old laptop I've tied into my network specifically for running simulator addons. Although hyped as being primarily for small "notebooks"(netbooks?) I can not help but think that this will grow beyond netbook accessibility, as I believe so does the programs author. For why market a program geared towards netbooks(or small notebooks) and include numpad shortcuts? "On the fly" doesn't mean looking for the "Fn" key. GaugeBook is still in Beta but it will be interesting to see where exactly it flies.
