Gametable is a Java-based shared whiteboard and chat client. It is designed primarily to provide a tabletop interface online, allowing all users to utilize the shared space. Draw directly, or place images, and all connected users can see and manipulate.
Very good! Easy to use, exactly what you need at some times. I miss a way to use a jpg as underlay . And I'd like to see exactly this program as a isometric version (pseudo-3d)
Great!
i use it for d&d 4e respect!
i use it for d&d 4e.. work like a charm
Ihave been using it for years. It is the best virtual tabletop available.
I use gametable on a frequent basis, not only for gaming, but for sharing images with friends as well. Easy to use, easy to learn, yet it can be as powerful as you need it to be (and have ram to spare for the java vm!) It makes for easy drawing of maps, plus the "handy" pointer feature is quite useful for those "no, that spot right there..." moments. An excellent example of a "keep it simple, sam" application. =D
I use it for rifts it works well
Awesome! This is the first project that makes me want to contribute to SourceForge
This is easily the best whiteboard program I have ever used, and while it lacks a couple of fun functions (say, writing in plaintext, or a fill tool), it is fully functional, has never once crashed on my group, is simple and yet interesting enough to do anything I want. GameTable is the best whiteboard program out there, bar none.
