Galena2 is a complete new layer above the Addin Interface of Galena1. This turns Galena into a framework for Web applications and content management systems (CMS). It has a built-in theme system (templating using Velocity), an HTTP server, caching, and more.
Galena2 is a complete new layer above the Addin Interface of Galena1. This makes Galena to a framework for (Web)Applications and Content Management Systems (CMS). It has a built in theme system (templating using Velocity), http server, caching, etc. Galena itself can also be used as a CMS right out of the box since it contains the most important addins like Wiki, News system and a Discussion Board.
Noteworthy changes: added a mysql database module (usable the same way as the postgresql module - thanks to Alan Garcia) jabber interface now supports basic group chats (converences) jabber interface will reconnect on disconnects irc interface: msg <username>@<addinId> now correctly sends the message to the nick name under which the specified user is logged in (for sending to a nick or to a channel, use 'irc msg <username>@<addinId>' web interface: Added a FileUpload addin which can be used as the comments addin by all web modules. timer: when adding a timer, it is now possible to define the command which should be used, when the timer-command produces a reply
