0.1-b1 - 16/05/2005 FIX: CGI script wasn't running when only one XSLT parser was available FIX: Photos processed by iPhoto were generating extra description text CHG: Modified the top level element in the XSLT to be 'galaxml' rather than 'gallery' or 'photos'
The fourth alpha release of GalAxML is now available. This release removes the dependancy on AxKit and it can now, optionally, be powered via a CGI script instead. This means GalAxML will now work with both Apache 1.3 and 2. The next release will, hopefully, support full URL's for the internal links (i.e. with parameters for album id's etc.) rather than using mod_rewrite this should extend compatibility to most unix webservers. GalAxML is an alternative user frontend to the popular 'Gallery' photo album project. GalAxML imports your existing Gallery database, converts it to XML then publishes HTML. GalAxML is highly configurable and standards compliant.
0.1-a4 - 28/03/2005 NEW: Can now run as a CGI script, AxKit is no longer required to run GalAxML. NEW: Improved importing when Gallery has 'missing' albums in its database, you will be warned that they are being ignored NEW: .htaccess can now be created automatically based on your settings.xml, this should reduce initial setup time
GalAxML 0.1-a3 FIX: Moved .htaccess to correct location in package.
