I would like following features:
-status depending on the public (WAN) IP address. This would be useful if I am in my university WLAN (141.x.y.z IP address) that the status is "at university:disturb only if urgent" and when I am somewhere else the status is "available"
-better automatic detection of the public (WAN) IP address. Gaim's/pidgin's automatic detection is the IP address of my VMware...

At start the Gaim window close fast without a error.
As root in console it comes the error:

How about a plugin to display the Song's Title I'm currently hearing with my favorite music player (XMMS, Winamp), on the nick name field? But without disabling certain part of it, let's say something like:
MyNickName: Singer - SongTitle.
