Transcoding of jpg files in jdk5 is fine but when I migrated to jdk6, then transcoded jpg files are getting destorded. Also the size of transcoded files are very small. e.g. In JDK5, 75 kb of jpg image is transcoded to 5 kb wheras same image in JDK6 is transcoded to 1.2kb. Please provide details on it.

I am using this utility for transcoding the image based on device capabilities.
After the transcoding. image which I am getting is in destorted format.
also can any one please tell me the steps of using the APIS like which class to call first.
