The new_main_conf function fails because of to fields missing in table nagios_main (external_command_buffer_slots and check_result_buffer_slots) causing the import to faild for the main_conf.
To solve just create the to fields as int type and re-import. Both fields should be included in the sqldata/fruity-mysql.sql.

And oh, yes, in case you didn't, know, Fruity is dead. It's been forked and renamed, to 'Lilac', and development is proceeding over at http://sourceforge.net/projects/lilac/.

Tobias, this was an issue in Fruity, too.
sudo actually has some problems in recent configurations, such as RHEL 5, where it won't run these commands without a tty. This disables it running from Apache. And the Nagios reload command is, historically, not reliable when the configurations have changed a lot: I never succeeded in tracking down what it tripped over, but it's not reliable...

Hello. The Update button text on the Flap page in the Main Configuration File Editor is incorrect. In that screen you are configuring Flapping options but the button at the bottom reads:
"Update Interval Configuration" Rather than Flapping configuration.

Here nearly the same.
While configure a Service which based on a template which is more than 2 templates deep there is a warning like this:
Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in /var/www/fruity-1.0-rc2/includes/fruity.inc on line 2385
Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in...

This pointed me in the right direction and just like the last comment I ended up giving sudo permissions to the apache user to allow the correct stop and start of the nagios process. In the future I'll look at doing the reload code because that makes more sense.

I'm able to connect to remote MySQL database in 1.0rc2 using standard MySQL connection. I'm still trying to figure out how to make a MySQL connection using SSL though.

Hello,
I created a new dependency and then edited the file by hand, because it was faster to copy and paste the dependencies and edit the hosts since everything was pretty much the same. Restarting Nagios showed everything was working correctly.
However attempting to re-import everything so that these dependencies would be in Fruity did nothing, as they were not picked up.
The...

I can confirm this, every time I attempt to import nagios.cfg, nothing is imported and I am forced to make changes from the webui.
