The freeWrap program turns TCL/TK scripts into single-file binary executable programs. freeWrap can wrap TCL/TK applications that consist of multiple script and binary files. freeWrap combines all the files together into a single executable file.
Quick note to say thanks for the updated 6.63 version! I saw the announcement on the comp.tcl.lang group [*] earlier today. This is a great solution for running tclsh and Tcl/Tk programs on Windows and Linux - I use the freeWrap tclsh as my main distribution on my machines - as it bundles all the main tcl, tk, and tcllib requirements into one easy to manage file. Also of course is great to make .exe files for the Windows platform - so my apps can be shared with friends and colleges without them needing to install any additional software - except my program. What could be better :) Thanks for bundling the freeWrap (wish) and freeWrap-tclsh into the same zip/tgz download file too - nice improvement. Thanks again for making this available!
