There was anew Nightly Build uploaded on Jan 5th however the AMD64 builds seem to 0.7RC2 Build 4910 again. Can we get an AMD64 build to the same level as the i386 (ie Build 4967) as soon as possible.
Thanks
Chris.

I have an old P4 machine and 3 existing 1TB drives that I want to use in a FreeNAS build. I use all 3 drives for general storage with one acting as a MythTV storage directory. Needless to say, all drives are approaching capacity, so I ordered 4 1TB drives to start off the new build.
In a good world, I'd want to use ZFS, specifically RAIDZ, to maximize storage and protect against drive...

No, you can't software-raid the OS drive.
You can set-up a cron job to copy(dd) the OS partition on a different location.

The way your question is phrased, I'm not understanding if you don't have a CD/DVD burner, or just don't have software capable of burning a .iso file to the disc.
If you have a CD/DVD burner, you can get a really small but effective burning software called CD BurnerXP. I know the name says XP but it's just a name -- I've used it with no problems on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7...

Hi,
Is there a way to get a free copy of Free NAS on CD or DVD, because I don't have a disk drive with image burning capabilities yet.
Thanks,
Zach Drew.
