Welcome to the Freemote Project. I've been using Freevo for some time now as a Media/Music Centre in my lounge area. I already have a Hauppuage IR Remote Control (via PVR-350), but wanted to control remotely from computers and laptops around the house. One important feature is Macros allowing functions to be chained together. With macros and clever use of menu layouts, it is possible to work out the remote control commands needed to get to certain Freevo areas. Quite crued I know, but maybe Freevo 2.0 will bring more Events etc. If you have any ideas or maybe can contribute Python code to expand Freevo events, then get in touch. Example: Main Menu > Audio > Web Radio > Drum'n'Bass > Bass Drive ...equates to... BACK,MENU,UP,UP,UP,UP,UP,UP (exits current function, moves to main menu and guarantees cursor is at top of menu) ...then... DOWN,SELECT,DOWN,SELECT (highlight Audio, select, highlight Web Radio, select) ...then... DOWN,DOWN,DOWN,DOWN,SELECT (down four times to highlight Drum'n'Bass folder and then select) ...finally... DOWN,SELECT (highlight Bass Drive and select to open the stream)
