The FreeMIS project is an Open Source, web based, Management Information System for high schools. It has recently been ported to the new Ruby on Rails web development framework. Initially the development will focus on the requirements of UK schools.

FreeMIS is now Rails 2.2 Compatible
After a quiet year, I have been back working on FreeMIS again over the last month. I have refactored the code to make FreeMIS compatible with the latest version of Rails (2.2) running with mod_rails (passenger). Today I merged this work back into the trunk. A new release will follow some time in the New Year.
