Prob using latest version on Ubuntu 9.10

Hi I used freemind on Ubuntu 8.04 and loved it! Now I have Ubuntu 9.10, tried to install the latest version adding: deb http://eric.lavar.de/comp/linux/debian/ experimental/ INstallation was fine but then when launching it there was a problem, freemind wanted to repair the .frremind/patterns file but could not (even when manually removed) so could not start. I then tried the stable version adding: deb http://eric.lavar.de/comp/linux/debian/ unstable/ But now it does not want to install it: ertains paquets ne peuvent être installés. Thanks a lot for your help!

I have FreeMind 0.9.0 RC4 running fine on my Ubuntu 9.10. Referencing Ubuntu bug 182927 you can get it from https://launchpad.net/~igorgomes/+archive/ppa/+files/freemind_0.9.0RC4-0ubuntu1_all.deb I haven't looked at RC6 yet.

Hi, you can also get the RC6 working by using the following repository: deb http://eric.lavar.de/comp/linux/debian/ ubuntu/ Hope this helps, Eric PS: happy new year!

Ok, I added it. But suing sudo apt-get upgrade did not offer ot upgrade from RC4 to RC&... should it? Btw, should that repo be the one used for Ubuntu? I'm asking as I had read other infos from the frenche ubuntu documentation, should I update that page adding the repo you mentioned? see http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/freemind Thanks a lot! PS happy new year to you too!
