Framewave is a collection of popular image and signal processing routines designed to accelerate application development, debugging, and optimization on x86-class processor platforms.
You people are mad! IPP is a fine library, but framewave includes full source which can be used as the basis for custom SSE code. Both libraries have their place, and this deserves a big thumbs up!
If a simple ADD function is 50 times slower due to super slow and bad algorithms, how can one expect other functions to work faster.
No, I will not recommend this. The performance of these routines are very bad in Intel machines. This is typically designed for AMD processors which are really crappy. I recommend Intel's Library or other Image and signal processing libraries.
