The KJV Bible (fortune format) is now a FreeBSD port! For installation, simply #cd /usr/ports/misc/fortune-mod-bible # make install clean If you're a portupgrade user, then # portupgrade fortune-mode-bible Couldn't be easier! The only hitch is that the program is installed in: /usr/local/share/games/fortune/bible You can symlink to the "base install" of fortune by... # ln -s /usr/local/share/games/fortune/bible* \ /usr/share/games/fortune/ or simply use this command line: % fortune /usr/local/share/games/fortune/bible
Sorry for the absurdly long delay. Files are now available in tar.bz2 format. Simply uncompress and copy to the subdir on your system that supports fortune files.
Note, the name "Genesis" is the first release of fortunebible. The release contains the whole KJV bible, not just the First Book of Moses
