Hey Jack Janson!
Release of ubiquity-xforms 0.7 was today. It supports all needed futures of my project and can print it - instead of formfaces. There is just one problem left: the release is a bit buggy with it's reload scripts. All in all the ubiquity is able to solve my plans! I am happy now.
Try it by yourself :)
I downloaded the packages for a higher performance and to reduce traffic...

You know, how I'm feeling. It's good to know, not to be alone. :)
I didn't notice something about a release, but I'll take some information considering my decision. But I've got an additional problem: I'm on an internship and need to get things working within a few weeks. There is no time for me to wait and waste. Updating the FormFaces would be a good job, I think lots of people would thank...

Same problem here:-(
I'm currently trying to decide whether to (a) switch to Ubiquity or (b) invest the time and effort to get FormFaces up-to-date. I'm waiting for the next Ubiquity release (due in a few days time) to make the decision.

Thanks for the tip, but i wanted to use an x Forms processor for current Browsers. On an internet page I can't say to a user: "use an older version of this browser in order to use my website". That's my problem. I checked ubiquity, but it doesn't support all needed forms; additional the tool crashes IE 8 by using it offline. If you want to use it online, you need to activate a special...

First thing I would try is to run it in an older and/or different browser. I have an application that ran fine with Safari 3, but is broken in Safari 4.
FormFaces development seems to have stopped 18 months or so ago:-( So, maybe you should try in FF 3 (or even 2?) and see if the problem also exists.

Hello Jack Jansen!
My Problem is, that FormFaces neither support the POST nor the PUT submit method. I need the filled data in an XML file. I wanted to do this by using PUT, but it seems not to be supported. Than I switched to POST, which had the same problem.
Everytime Mozilla 3.5.2 throws this exception:
----- BEGIN QUOTE -----
An error has occurred!
TypeError: xml.push is not a...

Could you try and repeat your problem with a small code fragment, and then repost?
Just dumping your HTML code onto this list isn't the best way to get people to look at your problem...

Hello everybody!
I got problems with submitting data as XML via post method; it doesn't work with IE 8 and FireFox 3.5.2. I tried to learn xForms by writing a immaginary "contragt agreement".
Here the included instance:
<contract>
<parties>
<company>
<name/>
<street/>
<streetOpt/>
<city/>
<postalCode/>.
