This is a simple program designed for users to send fonts across the internet to ach other. It can be especially useful when using MSN for example, if you want someone else to view your text in a font they do not have installed.

I think will be the following: To receive fonts you need to forward port 5870 or whatever one you have chosen to your computer if you're using a router. See your router's manual for how to do this Secondly, you can only use programs of the same version number together, otherwise you'll get major problems because they won't communicate properly. So you can only use version 0.1 with 0.1, 0.2 with 0.2 and so on.
The program is now in beta stage, with tons of extra goodies! I still can't fix that locking bug, but you can work around it using the new compressed mode. Ironically, this may well be the last release unless I get that bug fixed. I'm starting work on a new program which I'll release details of in due course, it'll be much bigger than font sender but incorporate a lot of the coding ideas I've used. Hope you enjoyed the program!
Port can now be selected Change of font folder now refreshes font list view Font list view can be refreshed manually Files can now be compressed while in transit Compressed files are automatically packed / unpacked, no manual unpacking required Progress bars added Status added by progress bars Label showing number of fonts in the folder added Help ==> About added A couple of other minor bugfixes. Locking problem is now solved (partially) by using the compressed mode.
First Documentation has now been released, the second release is being worked on.
