A game bases on the four color theorem - paint the village using only fourcolors and never paint the houses of neighbours that don't like each otherwith the same color.

Hello! I created some levels to test the new highscore features. I changed the layout of the game window because there was no proper place to display the highscores. If I don't find any bugs the next tasks are to review the code (I mixed lots of styles in the last years), to add proper copyright headers, and to add more levels. Stay tuned ...
Hello! Nothing happened during week 16 so there was no update last week. I changed some base module because detecting the 'Game Won/Game Over' situation revealed some bug. This is fixed now and I have been able to continue implementing the highscore 'stuff'. Highscores work now (3 different scores for every level) and are stored to disk. Stay tuned ...
Hello There! What happened the last week: * I added a QStatusBar at the bottom of the screen, showing the active color, the program mode (game/editor) and if you can currently go for a highscore. * I improved the color management (in the future there should be color schemes you can select from - something that will not make it into the first release) * Some new levels created. Stay tuned...
Hello! The game now supports gaps in the village (imagine something like a pont or a market place). Now smaller villages are possible (surrounded by lots of gaps!). I improved the look and feel and I ported the application to the QT 2.2 library. Now it is possible to customize the color set used. Thinks I still want to work on before releasing the first official version: * working high scores * proper copyright in all files and using the GPL license * review source code style * (basic) online help Stay tuned ... Bye, Erik
Hello! I implemented a simple editor so I can create a few non-random levels now. I had to enhance the data structure storing the village because the undo operation of the editor needed some informations about the basic topology of my village. Because of this enhancement I can now create levels that contain 'dead' regions (currently it is a complete 25x25 grid of houses without gaps). This will be very nice, but I have to touch that editor again. Stay tuned ...
Hello! Just some words because there is still no source code available: The basic game (with random maps) is already running stable but there are a few things I want to work on before I release the first version: * Implementing different high scores and storing them to disk. * Add an editor to create (more interesting) non-random maps. Tell me if there is somebody out there who needs the executable now! Bye, Erik.
