Written in Perl, Fast n Furious DtDNS Updater is running both on Linux and Windows. It is a client that will update any registered domain names through the DtDNS service (www.dtdns.com). It is very light: simple (command-line), fast and small in size.

v1.3- Security bug fixed (partially): arguments are visible through 'ps aux' by any user and thus sensitive infomation can be stolen. The arguments are reseted once they are provided, but still this is not complete security. Arguments should be given some other way, but at the moment, that is not a big concern for me. - More testing has been done, and some minor tweaks have been made. Code runs perfectly (at least where I've tested it), with warnings enabled (but not appearing ;) and 'use strict'. v1.2- Added support for different password for each domain name and different IP (or no IP) specified for each of them. A semicolon seperated list of elements that are colon seperated lists is used to pass the arguments. See faf.pl --help for more detailed info. Also reviewed the output and the processing loop. Still there may be bugs. v1.1- Added multiple domain names support. Used a different argument passing method for that reason. A semicolon seperated list of domain names. v0.9 - Fixed some 'beauty' stuff. Added extra info when reporting events. - Added daemonization function, to update every so. - If redirecting a host to the local machine, update request is not sent to the server if ip has not changed. To avoid high traffic for no reason and for compliance with the Specifications of DtDNS. v0.8 - First Beta release of FnF.
