Always have an eye on the UniverC project: https://sourceforge.net/projects/univerc/ The planned release for the FinalBASIC Interpreter is now December 1st. Visit the project homepage for detailed informations...
If you are not looking, how the UniverC project advances, a short information: - I'm behind the graphic.lib (drawing lines, boxes, circles etc.) - there are a lot of changes to do on the actual libs, especially the video.lib, but unfortunately also the console.lib changed - I still need to write keyboard.lib and mouse.lib After this is finished, I can start to program the FinalBASIC Interpreter, but: before this, I'll write a demo for UniverC: Spacewar. Although my Spacewar will be primitive, without computer AI, and maybe first finished at the end of 2002, I'm propably that busy, that I can start with FinalBASIC only in 4 weeks - i'd be glad to show you the first version of the Interpreter at the 1st September, but you don't know...
FinalBASIC stucks right on the first project files. I'm too busy with UniverC yet, which is also necessary for FinalBASIC. (I don't want to write it for each platform new). I think, it will need right to April, when someone may join the project. The basement must be made clear, then everyone can program on one source file for each function or command of FinalBASIC. I.e.: I must do the first part on my very own, after this are a hundred programmers suddenly worth a hundred times.
Since today UniverC as FinalBASIC are proud projects of Sourceforge.net. But I'll need a day to get my websites in order.
