Frequent disconnections when transferring big number of files, the history doesn't work, and the UI have strange limitations. I don't have those problems with gFTP under debian, by example.

I installed version 3.5.2 of FileZilla on my Mac running Mac OS 10.7.2. I managed to get it to run successfully once and downloaded some log files. Then my internet connection was lost. I rebooted my router and everything worked again until I tried running FileZilla, internet connection went down again! I'm now running CyberDuck instead.

It could be the best simple and efficiently working uploader if it wasn't for a permanent issue never addressed because in the forum there are plenty of complaints about this issue, but they are always dismissed and often told off. The developer never admits it is a bug and always says the fault is on the users. Of course, there are very inexperienced people knowing nothing about nothing, but some threads about this bug are very well documented. Throughout the years I have used Fikezilla, it is unable to upload a large file (within Filezilla specifications) without disconnecting. When it resumes it does it incorrectly and the files are broken. This has been happening with different hosts, different files, different computers, different OSs, etc., through many years.

Stores passwords in extremely insecure fashion. Even without asking by default.

Not the most beautiful source code I've seen. Bad comment usage, comments of several languages, arbitrary naming, etc. Very disappointing. I wonder if it is/can be maintained well and also, how it did it's way to 3.x
