  • Was a fine product. Not 40$ CAD worth though. Yeah sure the developer wants to get paid for support and maintenance of the program. Cool IF that was actually happening. It doesn't seem to be updated at all. I paid for a year subscription and never saw an update at all, so what maintenance is my license paying for exactly? The developer wants us to pay yearly or the unreasonable "lifetime" subscription because he wrote a couple of lines of code 2-3 years ago? Most of the code was written even earlier than that. No thank-you.
  • This application is in a niche market with no other real competitors so it has a pretty big following. I have no objections to the price and have paid license for the application. My biggest issue is the lack of documentation for the application. The GUI version of the application just leaves you scratching your head at times trying to figure out what some of the buttons do, and after tinkering with them, you can usually figure it out. The CLI version of the application can drive you absolutely mad though, the documentation is such poor quality, so poorly written when you run into issues, your only hope is to usually go to forums and see if someone can explain what's going on. There are countless incorrect command line arguments that are not documented or have documentation buried very deep in message forum posts. For some very basic things it's good, but when you get into more complex scripting with the CLI, you're going to run into issues.

  • Another greedy b@5tard bites the dust. Too bad, it was a great app. They think they can get it out there and popular, then take it away and people will pay an obscene price. It just screws over those that donated and supported them, and kills an otherwise great app.

  • App is great, unfortunately NOT 20 dollars worth - NOT a chance - I would HAPPILY pay 10, however due to the author's obvious greed, I'll move on to one of the many other apps out there and give them my money
  • I see a lot of people are complaining about spending money on an app. Some people believe that we live in a Utopian society where no one needs money and everything should be free... well that doesn't pay the bills or gives anyone incentive to keep updating and supporting a wonderful app that makes my life so much easier. Haters will hate... Wonderful app, Rednoah has been very patient with all of us Filebot Forum people and has helped me out immensely. Nothing but praise to his work and kudos for stepping up and moving it to paid version. A man is worth his wages. Keep up the good work.
