I recently did some test with the converter and found that some of the text formatting got lost when the documents were reconstructed from the XLIFF format.

All the tests were done on OpenOffice.org documents (odt,ods,odp). There is no problem when converting these documents to the XLIFF format. The correct formatting was present in all the generated XLIFF files. But upon reconstructing the documents from XLIFF to ODT, ODS, ODP the italic, text color and hyperlink formatting got lost in translation.

I didn't know if this was a bug or just functionality, so I posted it here. Any response would be appreciated.
