The aim of the Featurific File Manager is to allow a user to filter, sort, view, learn info about, and use files very easily and quickly. It relies on plugins to supply views of the directory and is intended to be powerful and easy to use.

From 0.1.0a to 0.2.0a Uses GTK+ 2.0, requiring you to install the new libraries (www.gtk.org). I wanted to wait, but I decided that there was so much more functionality in 2.0 that I had to switch. Just enough code has been modified to make it work. The 4 configuration files are now condensed to 2. Please read Documentation/Configuration.txt to learn how to configure FFM. Fairly major interface additions, including ability to create new files, a menu bar, and the ability to configure most variables that are dynamic (Plugin stuff will not take effect until the program is restarted. Well, when FFM saves the configuration, it will ;). The configuration window looks pretty good, I think. FFM also determines the type by the file's name (ex.: Makefile, README, are always the same type). Also, you can disable Sorting and filtering (to some degree) are in the configuration window, and work very well.
Heck, it's the first release!
