    This is an issue that I plan on fixing and submitting a patch for. Input and output is not cleaned and pages are no served with an appropriate character set parameter. You should be able to mostly fix this by placing the folllowing attribute on all of the form elements: accept-charset="UTF-8". You should also place <cfcontent type="text/html; charset=UTF-8" in one of the fusebox pages that gets executed on every request.
