FaceTrackNoIR (Full version v. 1.7.0).
FaceTrackNoIR is a head-tracker, which supports multiple head-tracker, filters and over 450 games. It was made using Visual Studio 2005 and Qt.
The major advantage over other headtrackers is, that it uses a simple webcam to track the face of 'the gamer'. There is no need
for expensive equipment or even Borg-like devices with LED's and such.
Installation:
To install the program, simply start SetupFaceTrackNoIR_Full_v170.exe and follow the directions. Use the desktop-icon to start FaceTrackNoIR.
CAUTION: If you have tried version 1.5 before and experienced "IPP-runtime" related errors, you MUST un-install the "Intel IPP-runtime"
sofware FIRST, before installing FaceTrackNoIR.You can do this, via Control Panel/Software.
The update installer (SetupFaceTrackNoIR_Update_v170.exe) applies, when v160 was already installed on your PC.
Compatibility:
FaceTrackNoIR is made for Windows and tested on XP, Vista, Windows7 and Windows 8. For face-tracking, a dual-core processor or better is recommended.
