Yes. Get your csv files from your database and then upload them. I d recomment using tools such as Datastage or Talend Open Studio (open source). You should not lose your data as both tools are professional tools.

Hello,
We are needing to transfer data from our Mysql database and are thinking that using CSV files might be the best. Would you recommend that solution? There's also the fact that we might lose data. Not sure about that and would like to have your experience.
Thanks for taking the time.

The Talend certification is available for users. You need to be knowledgeable on Talend.
The Talend certification is free: you will take an online test.

Hello to all,
I have been using Talend now for a few months and am very happy with the software. I have seen on the website (http://www.talend.com/partners/index.php ) the page on the Talend certification and the exam.
I'm pretty curious to see what it takes to take the exam, if you need to be REALLY good at Talend. Also I'm not sure if the exam is available for everyone and if it is...

Hi,
If you need an ETL open source program, best thing is to check Talend Open Studio. It is a practical and easily learnable program for ETL, data migration and synchronization.
The bug reporting, the community and the forum are active.
Go look at: http://www.talend.com/.

Hello,
We are trying to find a new open source ETL tool. Basically, we need our new software to perform tasks such as ETL, data migration and data synchronization.
For now, the program would not be used on large projects. There are a few open source tools on the market.
Any ideas? Thanks.

That is an interesting question you are asking. From what I have seen, ETL tools are translated in many languages.
Talend has an interesting project on Talend Open Studio as it has its community at work. Through Babili, the name of the project, users can translate their ETL tool.
As I speak, Chinese is on its way to be translated at 100%. Talend Open Studio is also being translated in ot.

Hello to all,
Being in a pretty much international company, I have come here to ask a few things about ETL tools and their different languages.
We have offices in the US, in Europe (Italy, France) and in China. We think English is fine but our European team and Chinese team especially would like to get software in their language.
What we are trying to find is an ETL program to perfor.

Hi. Here is what I have to say about the comparison between both programs.
Is using Talend Integration Suite really better compared to using Talend Open Studio?
There are advanced features in the open studio: group work, joblets, automatic documentation, advanced wizards... For Integration Suite: line command, monitoring console, scheduler. Support is included with Talend Integration Suite.

Hi all,
I have been working with Talend Open Studio for a few weeks now and would like to have your opinion.
Is using Talend Integration Suite really better compared to using Talend Open Studio? On what kind of project can you not use Talend Open Studio and would be best to use Talend Integration Suite?
Thanks a lot for your answers.
Have a good day!
