What's happening?

  • drag n drop

    with touchscreens becoming common, i think 'drag-n-drop' would be a nice feature to have for programs like this. drag an IP to a program and have it do w/e it is that program does (kill connect? scan for vulnerabilities? ...ping it...)

    If I understand correctly, its a problem of ubuntu. Sorry, but unfortunately I can't help you. I suggest filing a bug on ubuntu bug tracker (see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs)

    as soon as i install libglade2-0 from the ubuntu precise repo, etherape has a greyed out main window, means it does not work. downgading to the oneiric repo version cures this. meanwhile i have installed a new system from scratch - same behavior.

    Sorry, but I don't understand what is the problem. Have you tried to compile etherape from sources and failed, or is and ubuntu packaging problem ?.

    the "precise" version of libglade2-0 prevents etherape from starting i downgraded to the oneiric version, problem solved.
