Esqlanelapse is a weblogging system focused on accessibility and standards (it even has a built-in XHTML validator). It is a multi-user and multi-lingual system. It is not a yet-another blogware focused on more and more features.

This is a release to fix bugs, security issues and code maintainance.

New html_lib.php and comments_lib.php libraries have been added to improve code reuse.

Clean up of some old, messed and extremely bad code, which was imported from the original script (Epanelapse) from which Esqlanelapse was based. At least the frontend is more-or-less clean now. However, much of this original code still remains in the admin, which needs a complete rewrite.
This rewrite is scheduled for Esqlanelapse 3.0. It might also be good to split the "FRONTPAGE.php" file in smaller files [this is another Epanelapse inheritance :-(]. The current version still retains some mess and ill-indentation.

Simplification of some code.

Improved administration logout.

Removed the broken comments HTML management and added a clean paragraph-based formatter (which is also used for the admin).

Get rid of the stupid image-title creator.
