Regarding your first question: It is a non-trivial task, but we have it on our roadmap. Are you willing to sponsor this effort?
Regarding your second question: You can run without a separate server process, search the mailing list. The overhead is minimal, we can render the screwdriver.ply at 800+ FPS in a single window.

I don't know if it is ok to post this here,but I still don't konw how to post message in the forum.
I need an visualizing equalizer monitor GUI which could manage the server and all nodes. It could also see current jobs,add or disconnect a node,and could change config dynamicly.
And, I want to konw,if it is possible to merge application and Server together, since my appnode and server are on...
