Enano is a relatively lightweight "hybrid" CMS that focuses on being fast, secure and extendable. The fact that it is a hybrid CMS means that it can act as a CMS or a wiki, or both at the same time - and Enano does it all in AJAX dramatic fashion. GPL.

After a grueling 5 months of development, the Enano CMS Project is extremely proud to announce the release of Enano CMS version 1.1.6, the first beta-quality release in the series that will end with Enano 1.2.0, the next-generation stable series of Enano. Enano 1.1.6 features innovative and unique additions such as Live Re-Auth, a brand new default theme, HMAC-SHA1 password encoding, and filter-based log search. There is also a brand-new, redesigned administration panel along with many improvements to performance. In fact, Enano's page generation time has been cut in half since version 1.1.5, and the number of SQL queries per page has been reduced to 13 after a clean install. Speaking of installation, Enano's installer has been greatly improved too, with a new command-line installation interface, support for alternate database server TCP ports, a redesigned System Requirements page, and proper handling of absent config.new.php and .htaccess.new files. The command-line installer includes automation hooks, making it possible to generate a kick-start script to automate installation. This means Enano can be distributed easily with Linux distributions and easy-install webserver packages.
