• ENM set to replace EmpeecoMail

  After many dormant months, EmpeecoMail has been discontinued. The project has been revamped and rewritten as EmpeecoNetworkManagement. The first release v0.0.1 Alpha is an internal email server. This will soon be updated to incorporate full email functionality and later a whole host of additional functions Check back regularly ... ENM is back!!

  v0.1.1 * A few bugs fixed (see Bugfixes - Ref: FB09001, FB13001, FB13002) * Language tables created for all labels and messages (except 'Settings page') in English * Even more functions write a log entry * Progress Bars are more accurate for each external host and better spaced * Choice of interactive messages or just log messages Ref: FB09001 Bug symptom: If timout occurs - marks already downloaded files as 'Bad' and tries to download again. Fix: This has been changed so that files are processed immediately after being received and immediately marked 'Old' after processing. If timeout occurs, remaining files will b marked 'Bad' and will be retrieved again, but processed files are left out this time around. Ref: FB13001 Bug symptom: The 'Send mail to external host' routine only sends one outbound file correctly. If there is more than one file in the outbox, clicking the 'send / receive button' resends the same file repeatedly instead of each file. Fix: The mailsend routine now checks after each mail is sent if there is another file in the outbox. If so, then that file is also sent, until there are no files left. Only then is the Quit command sent. Ref: FB13002 Bug symptom: Mail processed into users inboxes includes the EOF characters at the end, causing this to display in some instances in the mail client (especially in text only mail). Fix: The incoming data is checked and the EOF characters are stripped out before the data is written to the file.
