  • Been using Eiffel for a little over 3 years now for my hobby project, running on Linux. The more I use it, the more I like it, hands down the best general purpose language out there. EiffelStudio is a good IDE as well.
  • Language is the best to none. Although the IDE is a little outdated. I would like to see the IDE implemented with SCOOP for concurrency. And GUI development seems hard to me without GUI Builder.
  • I love Eiffel, I used it at work to produce a medical pump, and use it at home on my Gnu/Linux laptop. However I also wish to use it at work, a school, with the kids, On MS-windows. The teachers do not have access to admin passwords, and the msi installer is insisting on admin privileges, even when I try to install to a non privileged directory. I tried the zip version, I can unzip it but can not get it to work. I have searched but find no useful instructions. There is an install.readme in the zip, but it point to a web page telling us how to install the msi.

  • Wow, the Eiffel language is the best language I have ever seen. It is simple, powerful, elegant and more. Also, Eiffel coding with EiffelStudio make it even more perfect.

  • We have been using Eiffel and Eiffel Studio for more than three years as of November 2013. The compiler, IDE, language and method of Eiffel are second to none. The capacity to produce high quality, well engineered, elegant code that is rock solid is well worth the effort to learn. Designing and coding in Eiffel is very fun and rewarding. You will not find a better match to your Computer Science skills anywhere.

  • Very useful project!
  • Very nice app :)
  • I wish I spent the last year coding in Eiffel instead of C++!
  • Eiffel is the best language I ever used. Of course I'm biased since I'm one of its core developers. Nevertheless I love EiffelStudio.
  • Great IDE for Eiffel coding
