  • good job
  • Today our production server stuck. I don't know for sure was it because of EhCache or not. According to stacktrace, it probably was. And the reason - very poor programming style, very simple mistake, inattention or incorrect assumption - forgot to put "unlock" in "finally". In the most critical section. 99% times it will be okay - but my bad luck put me in 1%. I was about to fill an bug track issue - but it comes extremly hard to do it. SourceForge bugtrack is closed (but http://ehcache.org/features.html links to it). Terracota bugtracker is hard to find and registration requies... phone number and organization name! Guyz, i'm not in any organization, what shall i put in this _required_ field? What if i don't have a phone? OpenSource is something about openess to community. Ehcache doesn't look open.
  • It's quite easy to use clustered cache under Terracotta
