  • Play Counter-Strike in Linux with EHL 0.3.0

Often people are reluctant to make the switch to Linux because of it's lack of support for Windows-only games. The Extreme Gaming for Linux project is writing code to make these popular Windows games playable in Linux using the popular WINE API. Emulated Half Life is the first of such scripts that enbles Linux users to play the game "Half Life" and all it's mods (inlcuding the popular CounterStrike) under Linux. Developers are needed to write code for more Windows-only games.

  • Emulated Half Life 0.2.2 Released

The long awaited Emulated Half Life has been released. Emulated Half Life is a set of scripts to install and run the award-winning (but sadly Windows-based) action game on Linux under WINE. This is just one of the first games to be emulated in the Extreme Gaming 4 Linux project. http://eg4l.sourceforge.net/
