DownloadDVDStyler is a cross-platform free DVD authoring application that makes possible for video enthusiasts to create professional-looking DVDs. DVDStyler provides over 20 DVD menu templates, allowing you to create your own menu designs and photo slideshows. After you select your DVD label name, video quality, video format, aspect ratio, and audio format, you can select a template to add video materials to. DVDStyler's interface supports drag-and-drop so you can add project buttons and movies around with ease. Some basic video editing operations such as trimming and cropping are also available.

By far the best DVD authoring software I have found. Nothing else for Linux is in the same league.

I have digitised a lot of Super 8 and Double 8 to MP4. Now I find this excellent program to produce a DVD with menues so that the elderly people who will get this can play it in their standalone DVD player.

Worked well, allowed some nice customization, works fast (relative to other burners - they all take a lot of time depending on the amount of data that has to be processed and written). Did not fail on a single burn (unlike some other software I have used in the past). DVD player was a little finicky but that is probably the player and not the disk - it eventually loaded and played it without issues.

I used to love the old Final Cut Studio DVD software, but since I moved to Linux and Windows I have found DVDStyler to be up to the job. Easy to use and fast. When I'm doing a lot of DVDs, I make the ISO in DVDStyler and burn it in CDBurner XP (at 8x speed) while making the next ISO at the same time -- allows me to multitask, and I've never had a dud.
