Is there some documentation which gives you the settings for producing DVD-player compatable svga and vga cdroms?
I'm guessing it needs to be in a .avi container, but should I use ffmpeg or another codec?
We use PAL TV system, but I believe that setting is sorted before the transcoding...

Hm? I guess , based on the topic you choosed, that you're using LINUX as Operatingsystem. If thats fact, did anyone have told you that it's not M$-Windows and excecutable binaries are not named ".exe Files"? If i'm not arrived in a totaly wrong Project-Page i think it's time to tell you that dvd::rip is a Perl based Program,so you should have a look for the "dvdrip.pl" file...

Hello,
I'm getting the following error when I run the configure script:
checking for mpeg2_init in -lmpeg2-dvdrip... no
configure: error: libmpeg2 is needed!
I have mpeg2dec-0.2.1.tar.gz installed and configured correctly
in my /etc/ld.so.conf
Is there anything I can do to get it to configure proplery?
Thanks much,
pK.
