  • First binary installer

I've never had much of a talent for installation programs, so I simply hope this one works. I have tested it on my development machine and run it through 2 virus checking programs. It should be good to go. Hope you enjoy. I monitor the developer forums.

  • First code checking

The CableLabs compliant DVB/MPEG-2 Multiplexer has been checked into the Subversion Repository. The current version requires Visual C# 2008 (any edition) to compile and run. The multiplexer contains a pretty rough UI but is functional and has been used in production environments for producing MPEG-2 transport streams for mass VoD production. The multiplexer is tested and verified in cooperation with Entone/Motorola development teams. The multiplexer included contains support for multiplexing elementary streams in the following formats : - MPEG-2 Video - MPEG-1&2 Audio (most layers/formats) - AC-3 (tested in most configurations) - DVB Subtitles (proprietary format which will be documented later). The files generated have been thoroughly tested using Manzanita MP2TSAE V3.0 and have passed all tested except a quad-byte alignment issue that shows up in the DVB subtitle streams. I believe however there is no existing equipment that actually cares about this any longer. If this isn't the case, let me know.
