This is a program that will enable you to use your camcorder as a v4l device.
Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon compatible. installDebian.sh, wich will install dv2vloopback and it's dependencies in the twinkling of an eye.
dv2vloopback is now Ubuntu Gutsy compatible and runing installDebian.sh will install it in a nutshell.
It isn't getting 25 fps but it's stable and will enable you to use your camcorder as a webcam with a relatively low memory consumption
