Latest Version has been released, dtvr now has editable channel listing, enjoy ;)
* channel list is now saved in a file, so it can be changed without recompiling the whole souce. * instead of an array, a linked list holds the loaded channels. * channel lineup bitarray has been shortened from 132 to 125 bytes, reason for that is that presently dtv has 999 channels, so 999/8 = 125 bytes with 1 bit to spare on the end. * Version number has been changed to 0.13a
List of changes: May 22 2003: * channel lineup javascript bug that caused the wrong bits to be set is fixed * bug in main that caused unecessary delays was fixed. * i have updated channel descriptions with information provided by pinout from efnet's #directv channel. Thanks for that. :) * channel type information now properly shows interactive channels instead of showing 'Unknown'. * audio only channels are now identified by MC[0-9] prefix instead of a channel number, this allows for more flexible channel lineups. * cancel button has been added to channel lineup selection screen. * version has been changed to 0.12a May 21 2003: * javascript functions 'mi()' and 'mo()' have been moved into the html file to avoid 'Undefined function' errors on Netscape 7.x browsers due to the fact that netscape catches mouse events before it loads dtv.java sourcefile. * 'Lineup' button has been added to the controls, by clicking on it you can personalize your channel lineup. * New option has been added to dtv.conf file, a 'LineupPath', it specifies directory where personalized lineups will be saved. * new source file has been added - channels.c, it contains functions for personalizing channel lineups. Only machines matching 'Domain' suffix specified in dtv.conf are allowed to save channel lineups. * default.lineup file now holds the default favorite lineup. * version has been changed to 0.11a May 20 2003: * some small cleaning, most of the allocated memory should now be freed before program exits. * simple configuration file was added - /etc/dtv.conf, so some options can now be changed without having to recompile everything. * installation manual was updated to reflect the changes. * dtool now takes arguments in hexadecimal or decimal format, hex numbers must have '0x' prefix. * a GNU general public licence copy is now included in the docs section. * version has been changed to 0.10a May 15 2003: version 0.1 alpha released.
