• Progress

  Progress on the new version of dream backer is good. The code has been rewritten with the exception of the compression module. The new version is running better,faster and more efficiently than the old version. Here is what has been done so far: -Backup to a physical drive. -Backup file automatically at a time set by the user(days,hours,minutes). -GUI Front end -Log system What's left to do: -Can encrypt backed up data. -Backup files to an FTP server. -Recovery Tab

• New version of Dreambacker to be developed

  Development of a new version has begun, the main focus of this relase is to make sure the basic core is stable and runs efficently, but various new fetures will be introduced. • Dream Backer RC1U

  a new release of dream backer is here, and with it comes many new improvements. Dream Backer has only been tested on Linux so if you'r using a windows or mac OS please send in feedback. Some new features: -Better start up script for Linux systems And Windows. -There is know automatic update notifications. -Backups are much quicker as each backup of a folder makes a new thread. So backups are done simultaneous not one after another. -Fixed files in vault display, it know always shows the correct number of how much folders they are in folder vault. -Clean-up on code, non needed code removed this will reduce file size. -More user notifications for errors. -Better Log storage.
