Dolphin is a file manager for KDE. This version on Sourceforge is an early beta release for KDE 3 and is not maintained anymore. Please use the official version distributed with KDE instead.
Dolphin has got to be one of the worst pieces of crap applications I've ever had the dis-fortune to be forced to use. The fact that this abomination is packaged with Kubuntu is an enormous disappointment to me. Running on a celeron 2ghz machine with 512 megs of ram Dolphin is pretty much useless. It randomly sucks up huge amounts of memory, spiking to almost all of the available system memory, for no reason at all. Trying to list directories with more than 30 files is pretty much impossible, and USB devices might as well not exist. DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM, it is absolutely terrible.
