Hopefully this will be the last one; a couple more bugfixes in this release.
There was a small bug in the comments module leading to inappropriate display of name input box when there shouldn't be one. Now fixed.
This is an actual release which introduces a small aesthetics tweak into the login module. There is no reason to reload the page if you want to login or register, so I added a small bit of script that does that. I also noted that the shout and comment jscript detector was being set everytime, regardless of whether the shoutbox was even present. That was fixed too. I also moved some style information out to the main css which is an interim feature before I add the shout styles to the theme admin. I believe that's all (except user self-edit and some sort of post count display) the functionality I wanted to get out before starting on live edit. Look for that next.
I'm not winning any speed records, but features ARE being added to this thing. Coming soon, live editing of primary content (text, news, shoutbox). Coming even sooner, a patch for those updating from previous release to the current one. It'll be a very alpha patch as I have very few guinea pigs to test it; if something breaks, expect little support.
This one fixes some issues with comments processing and optional news box processing. No DB changes since the last release are necessary, just overwrite old files with the new release.
Added spam-link prevention. Fixed many consistency issues with BBCode/HTML encoding in various boxes. Fixed old "no comments appear on news" issue. Fixed consistency with checkbox datatypes. Lots of other improvements since last version.
No new functionality in this one, just fixes (thanks Llama and Moo).
