I just installed it on windows. Works well.
The only thing I really miss - and that was the main reason I used DM2so far - is the additional Icon in the open/save dialog which lets me choose my favorite folders. Would be really great to get that working in a new version.
Running Vista SP2, the floating icons transparency setting does not work at all. Floating icons transparency stays at a value around 15% (which makes them very difficult to see!)
