The Disease Simulation Framework (DiSiF) represents a spatial simulation environment for infectious viral disease spread. The framework currently embodies a very simple framework for simulation in 2D space with focus on SARS and the Common Flu.

I added an installer version for all the major operating systems including Windows, Macintosh and Linux.
I (noblemaster) am the original author of the software. Here's my comment on what this is all about: The whole thing started off as a class project in around 2003 to simulate infectious disease spread. I tried to find a program that would display disease spread in space rather than using equations. I couldn't find anything interesting, so I decided to go ahead implement something myself. It's not very fancy, it's a simple program that simulates people moving around in a 2D environment. People are stumbling onto my paper and ask about the software, so here we go in case you are curious. If you decide to enhance it, please be so kind as to check your code back in for other people to enjoy :-)
