Dirt is a multi-platform IRC proxy that adds FiSH-compatible chat encryption (including DH1080 key exchanges) to any IRC client. It can be used as a Socks4 proxy or as a simple bouncer. For security reasons, only localhost connections are allowed.

There's still blood in this project
I just thought I'd make this news post to let everyone know that DIRT IS INDEED UNDER DEVELOPMENT despite there having been no alphas or svn-commit's for a while. I'm slowly but surely rewriting a large portion of the source code and I'm refining and adding features as I move along... Expect to see a major update within two or three months with all known bugs fixed and small additions like passworded sessions, etc.
