• Digital Imaging Resizer Toy Now Available!

  The "Seam Carving for Content Aware Image Resizing" video that's been very popular is very cool, but would be even cooler if you could play with it yourself. Now you can! The Digital Image Resizing Toy provides an implementation of the algorithms from the video, so you too can seam carve. The toy uses the filters from DIIT to find the seams. Unlike other implementations available, it stands alone as an application and can preserve/erase particular portions of the image.

  Digital Invisible Ink Toolkit Changelog ======================================= May 2006 ----------------------------- Added a "NoMessageException" which is thrown when the retrieved message size is larger than the space (as calculated with algorithm settings and given image). Fixed typo in the Prewitt and Sobel filters. Added cancel button to the "Working please wait" panel. Added LSB Matching for all algorithms. February 2006 ------------------------------ Added the ability to see how much space left in an image (for both encoding and simulating). Also added "Explain" button which gives a short synopsis of what the algorithm does. January 2006 --------------------------- Added the Prewitt edge detecting filter. Added Dynamic BattleSteg and Dynamic FilterFirst algorithms. These two new algorithms are augmented versions of their original counterparts, but are not compatible with their counterparts. 27 October 2005 -------------------------- Tuned BattleSteg algorithm Fixed some interface bugs - including one where the filter values were set wrong. 19 October 2005 ------------------ Fixed the interface so it lines up properly Fixed Average Absolute Difference, LpNorm and Mean Squared Error so the ratios aren't rounded to zero. Fixed Sample Pairs code. 12 September 2005 ------------------ Fixed a bug with the file filters where they failed to show directories.
