Description
This digitizing software tool converts an image file showing a graph or map, into numbers. The image file can come from a scanner, digital camera or screenshot. The numbers can be read on the screen, and written or copied to a spreadsheet.

I love this product. I download it and use it. I never have to configure it more then 5 minutes.

I downloaded digit-exe-linux to Ubuntu 11.04, unpacked, clicked "enguage" and it worked right out of the box (no compile necessary, no additional packages necessary). Easy to use from manual: home page > help > user manual. Automatic feature was decent on the plots I needed, but I had to click points manually to be really satisfied with the fit.
