Dev-C++

I have this same problem, and no one is trying to help. It seems like a simple problem, but if the software just doesn't open it, or crashes, then there really isnt much the programmer can do about it. I'm thinking its a setting somewhere that makes it do that, but I'm not sure of anything, so don't take it literally. Also, I didn't even add anything to the default console app, and I still cant open the project properties or options without the program crashing. I'm not really able to use this app unless I can open it.
