That's right, the Deskroot project is getting a fresh start. In the next month, we'll be getting developers together and the first draft of the design doc should be out by the end of the week! The Deskroot project is looking for volunteers to help create an "ActiveDesktop That Doesn't Suck" for *nix platforms running X. Help is needed in documentation, coding (particularly XML parsing and HTML rendering), and GUI creation.
