DEE Excellent Editor

DEE Excellent Editor is a simple source code editor whit syntax highlighting for many languages with a file browser panel to quickly select files. DEE can open files from the local system or directly from an ftp server.

New release on the way
I've spent a lot of time working on the 0.2 release, it should be available sometime this week. I made a lot of changes, made the GUI a little more coherent, etc. Networking features won't be available in 0.2, but it should be a pretty solid local editor ...

I've been very busy the last few months, but I didn't abandon my ambitions for DEE. I really think it has a great potential, so I'll be working on it during the holidays, and I'll publish a new release (ready for intensive use, probably with networking ...

I just released the current version, far from complete, but it works just fine ;)

As you can see on the screenshot, DEE seems ready. It is, locally. I'm waiting to implement the network capabilities before releasing it, which should be pretty soon ;)
